Just over a decade ago, it was almost unthinkable for a young person to openly call themselves a nationalist. Today, in 2025, that has changed. I am 20 years old and, like many others, I proudly identify as a nationalist.

Across Europe, a silent uprising is unfolding. In Germany, the AfD is gaining traction among the youth. In France, Italy, and the UK, similar movements are emerging. The political establishment is shaken and for good reason. What they labelled as fringe yesterday is becoming mainstream today. The next generation is rejecting the promises of globalism and placing its faith in something more radical. But why are the youth turning to nationalism?

Economic Dispossession

The average age of a first-time UK homebuyer has risen to 35 in London. In the 1980s, it was 23. The reasons are clear, decades of mass immigration have fuelled unprecedented demand for housing, pushing prices beyond reach for ordinary working people. Over 1.2 million people arrived in the UK last year, equivalent to a new Nottingham. That pressure doesn’t just strain infrastructure, it displaces natives, prices out young families and erodes any meaningful housing policy.

Worse still, the White British are not even being prioritised in social housing. According to the 2021 Census, only 16% of White British households live in council housing, compared to 43% of Black households and 34% of Bangladeshi households. As we’re priced out of homeownership, we’re also excluded from the very safety nets our taxes fund. Many young people now cling to the hope of inheritance, yet even that is under threat from punitive taxation.

Meanwhile, a cost-of-living crisis rages. Young Britons are expected to work harder, compete with imported labour, and pay more only to be told they’re privileged.

Cultural Dislocation and Media Control

This generation is the first to grow up entirely online and it shows. Legacy media no longer controls the narrative. Young people have access to independent platforms, archives, alternative voices. They’re researching, thinking, questioning. That terrifies the establishment. The rise of censorship under vague “hate speech” laws, the weaponisation of the Online Safety Act, and the relentless attacks on platforms like ‘X’ expose a regime desperate to suppress dissent.

Meanwhile, the cultural assault on native youth, particularly working-class boys, is relentless. Whether it’s rewriting history, demonising masculinity, or promoting radical ideologies, the goal is to strip young people of their identity and heritage. But the backlash has begun. “Return to tradition” content is viral because young people are mourning something they barely got to inherit, a Britain of dignity rather than degeneracy.

Demographic Truths

The truth is plain to see. Our towns are changing. Our cities are unrecognisable. Enclaves form, cohesion dissolves, and traditional life recedes. Knife crime, grooming gangs, social fragmentation. These are the fruits of an enforced multiculturalism, with the victims overwhelmingly the young.

The Path Forward

Nationalism offers hope, a call to restore the Great Britain that it once was. It places youth at its centre. It demands policies like remigration, cultural revival, and national preference. Because a nation that does not put its young first, will not have a future at all.
