One of the largest 'sub-cultures' within the Nationalist movement, is the one which embraces the idea that we do not have the power or ability to actually remedy the ills facing the country, and that the best we can hope for is to guarantee our own survival. The mechanisms proposed to do this typically include the formation of 'homogenous enclaves', or the withdrawl from society completely to 'live off the grid'.
Ultimately, to be a nationalist is to understand one's place within the national community, which means to understand the importance of society, belonging and collective action. There is absolutely nothing collective about someone abandoning their own people in an attempt to save purely themselves. Likewise, there is nothing collective whatsoever about relegating oneself into the woods, only emerging when the person want's something (like to use public services), but at all other times maintaining that they owe the system nothing because 'they aren't part of it'. The hypocrisy and selfishness of both ideas is palpable, and this is why I very openly proclaim that it isn't nationalism at all to behave like this - it is asocial.
Many of our people worry that the day will come when they will be a hated minority in their own homeland. The people who choose to self-segregate from their own countrymen, to go and live in 'communities' that appear to every outsider like a cult compound, are the ones who will BECOME the hated minority. It is a self-inflicted condition. The belief that all their is for our people is victimisation, failure and oppression, and that we have no agency to actually resolve our problems, is the pathway to a self-inflicted defeat.
I have seen even in a couple of years people within the nationalist movement who have ruined their own lives pointlessly because they convinced themselves that the entire world and everyone in it was out to destroy them, and because they believed that to be true, they ended up acting out the part.
The ultimate paradox being that the people who prioritise as a goal, their own 'survival' against society's issues, always become the first casualties of it. Because they spend so long thinking only about themselves, caring only about themselves, and ignoring everyone around them, that when the crunch does come, their selfishness is repaid in kind, and nobody lifts a finger to help them. It's a fate self-inflicted, and a fate deserved.
The way to survive, is to recognise that the survival of the individual is dependent on the survival of the group. Huge chunks of our own blood cannot be written off purely because they don't have the money to relegate themselves to luxurious, homogenous market towns, or the ability to leave their entire life behind to go and live in a gated enclave (which are nothing more than a grave to die in and people to bury you when you do).
To that end then, our goal must be victory. Victory being the realisation of a National Community, and the implementation of a vision for the future in which none of our people are abandoned, and all are given the chance to realise their destiny. And how can victory be brought about? By the acquisition of real, tangible political power, through focussed and determined political action.
The enemies of our people in Westminster have for many years propagated that our people cannot achieve or accomplish anything, that they are pieces of dirt to be trodden on, and they have done this very deliberately to destroy their morale, for people demoralised have defeated themselves. It has been repeated so much for so long that even many nationalist leaders are saying the same thing - that our people aren't capable of realising the nation of their imagination - and they do this because they lack resolve.
To accomplish the task of realising our National Community, will require flexibility in terms of tactics BUT single-minded dedication to the objective. It will also require an immense effort of the will. But this is true also - that the human will is the strongest force of nature in the universe.
Individually our people are weak, but if all their wills be combined in the pursuit of a grand objective, anything is possible. And all those people who walked away to save themselves because they were convinced that nothing could be done - they will be proven wrong when the future of an entire race of people is willed up out of nothing.
