By National Rebirth Party

September 9th, 2025

On the 6th September, the Party held its first National Meeting and Conference in Leeds. This was the first time that we brought together members and supporters, and officials from our active branches, to one place for an organised meeting. In total, 55 attended. Some were unable to due to distance, but eight of our nine active branches were present, and we had a lineup of genuine speakers from amongst the Party's leadership and membership. The speeches will slowly be made available on the Party's Youtube channel and website.

Our speakers for the day were:

  1. Branch Leader Leeds, David Smaller. Who spoke about his experiences in political campaigning over the decades, why a new way was needed, and the constructive things he has been able to achieve in his constituency.
  2. Branch Leader Sunderland/Peterlee, Darren Houghton. Who spoke about what brought him to the Party and the work that he has done, and intends to do, in the North-East.
  3. Mr Piers Mellor, one of our London members, who spoke about the history of British nationalism since the Second World War, the lessons we can learn, and the importance of offering people a genuine alternative.
  4. Branch Leader Nottingham, David Eccott and his son. Who spoke about what brough them to the Party, the work they have done with the Branch, and their plans for the Branch going forward
  5. Branch Leader Hull, Jonathan Mainprize. Who spoke about an issue which is extremely pervasive in Hull - the inability of the police and justice system to deal with rape and grooming gangs, and the failure of Operation Marksman.
  6. Party Leader, Alek Yerbury. Who addressed the Party on its course so far, and the importance of genuine hard work in turning the dream of a National Community into reality.

What did our attendees think?

These are thoughts that some of our attendees agreed for us to publish:

"The National Rebirth is a practical party, not just a theoretical one which exists on paper but doesn't actually do anything outside of creating media. I look at a myriad of "Nationalist" content on YouTube, for example, created by all kinds of "expert" analysts but one wonders how many of them do anything practical, rather than posing with the theoretical?", -  Mark Barnes

"As a person who identifies as a Evangelical Christian and is politically Libertarian I audited the conference as a non-member and it had community and justice at its heart. There was real care for the native-British people, the Far Left were rarely spoken ill of and it was a real drive forward of people who would rather make their neighbours better off. The conference consisted of people of different backgrounds, faiths and able/disabled state. People behaved in a respectable manner. There was no lout drunk behaviour. Women were ladies and men were gentlemen. The members & leadership of the NRP seek no outside influence whether it comes from foreign nations, international capital, Fabián Marxist indoctrination or populist hysteria of the mob. Rather they are set on a strategy to aid impoverished society. I'm sure the tabloids will try and label them as things he is not but one thing is clear, he has put together a new league of gentlemen who will use their free time to work and improve their communities for the next generation whether the established parties, powers and classes like it or not!"  -  Brent Cooper

"My initial thoughts were 'a lot has gone into this', which gave it a sense of importance and integrity. I appreciated the fact most of our branch leaders had attended along with their own members, which meant it was being taken seriously. The speeches were professional and all in all the attendees were in good spirits and I felt an immediate sense of commeraderie which was very satisfying. I feel our party is going in the right direction and that we were all on the same page. The event was well laid out and presented professionally, from the flag ceremony to start of proceedings, into the speeches. The MC for the day did a fantastic job"   -  Darren Houghton, Branch Leader Peterlee

Keep an eye out for the various speeches, which will be posted throughout coming days.
