I wish to address something within my own strategy, and within the strategy of the National Rebirth Party. It is something that is well understood within the context of war and the military, and something I saw myself during my time in the British Army.

In the 1850s, Britain was involved in fighting the Crimean War. The war was ultimately ‘won’ by Britain and its Allies, but the British military performed well below all expectations. Casualties were needlessly high. Logistics were needlessly poor. Leadership was needlessly bad – the war produced the infamous Charge of the Light Brigade. Consider that by the 1850s, the last real military campaign was in 1815, and an entire generation of officers had no experience of soldiering beyond a parade ground, and no direct knowledge of tactics or strategy other than what they read in a book.

Go forward a century, to the Second World War. Particularly, the real experiences of the popular culture ‘Band of Brothers’ (Easy Company of the 501st Airborne). Anyone who has read the book or watched the popular television show will remember Captain Sobel, the seemingly legendary, brutal trainer of men who exudes competence and skill on the parade ground, but as the stakes become real and combat looms, his ability to lead and make sound decisions becomes worse and worse to the point where although he has authority, nobody respects him, and he is eventually replaced.

These two examples, one on a large scale and one on a small scale, are excellent examples of what ‘peacetime soldiering’ can lead to, especially in leadership.

I see the exact same thing within the leadership of the ‘Nationalist’ movement.

Years of existing in ideologically bankrupt echo chambers and never having any genuine responsibility (or even participation) to society have made most of them into the ultimate parade ground soldiers. They excel at branding and optics. They excel at mundane, totally reactive (as opposed to proactive) administration. They excel at organising conferences or podcasts. But at the same time, their ability to understand or implement tactics or strategy is dire. Their judgement when making serious decisions is questionable. Their character conduct is prone to being poor. They are more obsessed with people saying the right things that actually doing the right things. They have authority, but they do not command any obedience except through fear or money. They certainly command no respect from wider society but in most cases not even from within their own ranks. They project images of themselves as fearless heroes yet their own behaviour is often cowardly and weak. And they know this which is why most of them are constantly living in paranoia of splits, defections, infiltrators, ‘doxxing’, and criticism.

In short, they are only good leaders, UNTIL they actually have to do something remotely challenging or serious. At that point, they crumple like paper.

Being a ‘dissident’ for these people is extremely easy, because they don’t actually have to back up any of their claims with any actual work. Actually winning power, and being in a position of authority and being responsible for making decisions is magnitudes harder.

Should these nationalists actually succeed in attaining some sort of power or public office, they will suddenly find themselves with serious expectations being thrust upon them. Their deficiencies in situations of responsibility and authority will very readily become apparent, and they will quickly lose the respect of just about everybody around them. Nobody will trust them due to frequent deceptions and lies. The poor judgement will result in decisions that cause damage to huge numbers of people. And the chances of them ever being trusted with any responsibility twice will become zero.

To resolve this, my objective as well as the objective of the Party is to stop cultivating Peacetime Nationalists and start creating Wartime Nationalists.

We must ensure that those who we put on a pedestal NOW are people who are capable of actually remaining on that pedestal when submitted to the judgement of the general public. Those who are given positions of trust and responsibility NOW need to be people who are capable of holding public office competently and with good judgement.

We do not need people who are good at being fake. We do not need people who live in cult mentality and are unable to communicate with anybody or assess different pieces of information put in front of them rationally. We do not need people who talk big but then run away the second any pressure gets applied (I’ve had to deal with many people like this since forming the Party, and I am proud of being completely ruthless in chastising them).

We need Wartime Nationalists who are capable of maintaining their good performance even when subjected to the inevitable pressures of command and political warfare. Especially so when the objective is political revolution. We need people whose judgement is able to be routinely sensible without having to be scrutinised constantly. We need people who are capable of putting aside their personal feelings and making rational decisions, for the good of the cause. We need people who have a sensible working knowledge of the many things they will ultimately be responsible for instead of a laser-like knowledge of one thing and total ignorance of everything else.

We need Wartime Nationalists who are capable of winning people’s respect rather than ruling through money or the threat of excommunication like demented Popes.

Often the best wartime soldiers are people who get overlooked on the parade ground. Likewise, some of the best wartime nationalists are people who have previously been overlooked and sidelined, because they tend to be quiet workhorses, not prone to being pretentious or full of hot air. But make no mistake, these are the people that the Party is looking for, and these are the people that I look for. The war is won on the battlefield, not on the parade square. Those who fake strength will break as many do time and time again, and those who truly have strength will be the ones to actually carry the flag.

To which end, what I ask is simple:

If you think you have what it takes to be a Wartime Nationalist, then help us in the fight to realise our National Agenda.
