The Party has followed on from its first National Meeting and Conference with a series of multi-branch meetings in various parts of the country, the first of which was in the West Midlands on Saturday. Despite the weather causing some transport issues for half a dozen attendees, it was a pleasure to see 25 people from three different branches physically gathering together for an afternoon of speeches, branch reports, and a Q&A session with the Party Leadership.

We had, in the end, speeches from:

  • Branch Leader Leeds/Deputy Party Leader David Smaller

  • Branch Leader Manchester Aaron Oates

  • Prospective Branch Leader Leicester Ethan Sanders

  • Branch Leader Birmingham Ian Lord

  • Party Leader Alek Yerbury

The reason why this needs to be done is because no amount of professed support on the internet, or behind closed doors, matters if it cannot be mobilised into real world organisation. Over the last decade, small parties in particular have made the mistake of trying to use internet-based activity as a substitute for the real world, to horrific results. The same is true of the various ‘influencer’ movements both in Britain and on the continent, which exist in a bubble of their own and have no genuine bearing on the direction of politics in the real world.

Nationalist parties have suffered a great deal from these problems over the last decade. Instead of using the internet and ‘PR’ tools to bolster genuine quality, they have instead had a really bad tendency to use them as a substitute for genuine quality. The result is many organisations which are totally hollow, lacking in any resilience or genuine loyalty, and which struggle to manifest even trivial amounts of real world power. Many of the people in these organisations have convinced themselves that they are a great deal more powerful and influential than they are, but they are very much powerful only in their own mind, and the rest of society pays no real notice. The ‘metapolitics’ and ‘influencing’ that is rife, particularly among the ‘right’, is characterised by leaders and organisations who have all the gear, but no idea; who can say all of the ‘right’ things and think all of the ‘right’ things, but can’t do anything of any genuine use to anyone.

By operating on a principle that no support is genuine support until it physically materialises in front of you, the Party can avoid falling into this trap. No matter how good a soldier appears on the parade ground, if he can’t actually soldier, he’s worthless.

The other trap that our methods avoid is to fall into sectarian politics – the idea that the Party exists solely for its members and nobody else. That worldview dominates the thinking of multiple nationalist groups, especially those that talk about ethnicity and race, and it is extremely off putting to the general population. A true political movement exists for our people as a whole, not just for itself. Our vision of National Community is one that involves all of our people, not just the people who happen to already agree with everything we are saying. There is a pathway and a place for everyone in it.

We encourage those who believe in the creation of a genuine National Community to recognise the value of our National Agenda – nationalrebirthparty.org.uk/agenda – and involve themselves for real in the Party.

And when you come across people with loud mouths endlessly proclaiming that they ‘want’ things to happen, ask those people what they are doing to achieve those goals. And if the answer is nothing, then question them as to why. Take no excuses, because our enemies aren’t interested in hearing them, so we mustn’t be either.
