Approaching the Local Elections of 2024

As the Local Elections are only a month away, it is necessary to talk about the role the National Rebirth Party will play in the 2024 local elections. The short answer is:

Put them out of mind.

If the Party is to succeed, it needs to play the long game, which is ten to fifteen years. The path to victory cannot be built around a fixation for immediate results. All this does is result in a series of small, low-level wins, which are not translatable into any kind of long-term gain. There is abundant evidence surrounding us that nationalist politics has (and still is) making this mistake on a wide scale. And the most abundant form this mistake takes is the fixation on ‘localism’.

There is a deeply ingrained belief in most circles of nationalism that the way that you solve nationwide issues such as immigration, the economy, political reform, is to start at a grassroots level and focus on the problem in one specific area (typically a local council ward). What this ultimately represents, is treating the symptoms rather than the problem. And whilst it may even be successful, at a local level, it consumes all the resources and effort of the organisation doing it, to the point where actually campaigning against the problem itself becomes impossible.

I have personally seen in the last year various groups and individuals’ campaign against issues like migrant hotels, win those campaigns, and still end up in a worse position than they started, because they didn’t consider the fact that all the while they were treating a symptom, the problem itself was continuing to get worse. For the nationalist agenda to succeed, this MUST stop.

The great paradox of the entire fight is that the more a person tries to save themselves first, the more likely they are to be destroyed, and the more they are prepared to forget about themselves and think only of others, the more likely they are to survive. The more that people fixate on trying to save their own postcode before having greater goals, the worse and worse their situation will become, in spite of all their efforts. Whereas the more they think only about the larger picture, the nationwide picture, the more they will start to achieve results, and the more that those results will trickle down to them at a local level.

The NRP will not be engaging in the local elections of 2024 for two key reasons:

Firstly, because it would be a pointless consumption of the initial resources that the Party has amassed, for negligible gains.

Secondly, because even in the event that the Party were able to win seats on local councils, these seats would not be translatable into any kind of wider victory, since local councils have no ability to address issues like political reform, the economy or immigration. Parish and local elections are comparatively easy, but also meaningless in most circumstances.

The Party cannot make the mistake of desperately chasing any kind of win that it can lay its hands on, even if that win is worthless. It is time that nationalists begin to put aside the misguided virtues of impatience and recklessness, and start putting into practice the great attributes of the British people – perseverance, cunning, and strength of will.

Our objective is to totally change the destiny of our people, because their destruction is what will happen if we do not. And to do this will require every single reserve of might that we can find. The task is challenging, but not impossible. For others around the world perhaps it would be unachievable, but not for British people.
